Head Coach - Rick Willis
Rick grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts and played youth travel hockey for the North Shore Raiders organizationin the New England area. From there, Rick went on toplay High School Hockey for the Pingree School, Hamilton, Mass and finished at The Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York. The New York Rangers of the NHL took notice and drafted Rick while still in high school in the 4th round of the 1990 entry draft (76th overall). Rick went on to play collegiately for the University of Michigan Wolverines. There, he played 4 years for legendary Michigan coach and player Red Berenson. While at Michigan he was a member of teams that won 3 CCHA regular season championships, 1 CCHA tournament championship and also played in 1 NCAA quarterfinal and 3 NCAA Frozen Fours. Rick captained the Wolverines in his senior year. After Michigan, Rick signed a professional contract with the New York Rangers (NHL) and spent 2 seasons 1995-1997 with the Binghamton Rangers of the AHL.
Rick has been coaching youth hockey for the last 5 seasons in the Southern Tier Hockey Association. Currently, Rick resides in Binghamton, New York with his wife Joann and his two children Jake and Lexi.
